I created a blog entirely made to post my sketches and rough work, perhaps even finished pieces and hopefully get some critique.

Only one entry has been posted, but I hope someone will mark it and check it out every once in a while

An artists path

A new entry in this journal of mine is long overdue. I've been drawing a bit, haven't been getting around to it much though (lazy) and I'm working in a pretty flexible place now and only for 4 hours a day with a 3 day weekend, so I SHOULD have finished a lot more. Gullveig is in progress, I'm re-painting Ellie (she sucks in the old one xD) and I'm still trying to get my ass to finish off every detail of Ervum. Jörmungandur is my newest addition, he'll be teh best, and I'm planning to make a more epic picture of him later, him fighting Þór perhaps in Ragnarök. Need skill pointz plz

So, wish me luck! This weekend probably won't produce much result, as I'll be in my last days of my old job there training some newb to take over from me. So...at least I'll try!

Me and my boyfriend decided to go out and take some pictures. He's a great photographer, and a great person to boot so we had a lot of fun. We've decided to go again soon, so you guys might get to see more pictures soon

The progress with Ervum goes slowly. I'm still trying to perfect every imperfect little thing and it's extremely time consuming. I've spent hours and hours on this one. I'm ALMOST finished though, so you guys should be able to see the final result soon

Now my exams are over (I expect a very high grade in math, I did sooo well on that test, not so good on the photography test (thank god that test doesn't fail me even if I get a fail grade on it!)) and I've had time on my hands. I've been studying anatomy on my own for a few days, and it's amazing how fast it comes to you when you have the interest in it.

Worked a bit more on the character "Ervum", which was previously named Weed, but since I was a bit dissatisfied with that name I decided to take the latin version of weed/vetch, which is Ervum. It's a wonderful name really, and I love it. So, what I did was change the clothing design and try a bit more for detail. I put in the linework for her in my gallery, but it's only a portrait. Full body will come a bit later. I'm going to color in the portrait (which will take a while) and then try for a full body design.

I love EVE-ONLINE. Everything takes extremely long in that game, so I can mine or train skills and draw in between and no problems. I finished that linework of Ervum while mining in EVE. EVE is an artist friendly game, really wonderful, but extremely addictive! Beware! xD

So that's all for now. Hopefully I'll be able to draw loads this summer, and master anatomy while I'm at it

Right so I've been busy as hell and should be studying for exams, but I'm too lazy to do anything right now. I've finished almost everything that needs to be finished and I'm craving a vacation from all this crazy business. But I want to work this summer too. This summer will be rather calm for me, I'm not going to go insane travelling or anything, although I will go to Germany for Wacken and I will go to an Icelandic metal festival out here in Iceland. Those two things will be the most expensive things I'll be doing this summer.

The cold I had has pretty much subsided although I'm not entirely back to normal. I cough up my lungs sometimes and sometimes I can't sleep because I cough so much. But it's better than what I had.

I haven't colored anything in a while now, I hope I'll get back to it soon, well, as soon as I stop worrying about exams and work and the likes.

EVE-online is the best game ever right now.
